On that date 51 years ago…Carol and Ted were married and BY GOLLY it did last!
On that date this year, which is a Sunday, we are planning an afternoon (anytime after three will be fine) of fun in the shop with both Rocky Forge Blacksmiths and the Illiana Antique Power members with a pitch in dinner at 6:00 P.M. Carol and I will furnish the dinnerware and drinks (if you want soft drinks, please bring your own). This will be an informal open house for all to enjoy…snacks, social time and the pitch in meal.
5:00 P.M. we will be showing a video that KJ has provided and it shows life in
Ted and Carol Stout
There will be a short meeting of the Illiana Antique Power Assoc. after the pitch in dinner to discuss the Annual History Day coming up in May. Please try to attend. The regular newsletter will resume in April.
LET’S CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK’S DAY TOGETHER AT THE STOUT’S!!
The kids will be there and our job will be to give them a day of experience they will never forget! Making the past come alive can be fun but we know/remember the amount of HARD WORK that goes along with it. Plans are being made…..ideas are being taken…..if you have a suggestion or an idea be sure to let Dave and Tara Sims (765-294-4626) or Joan Fry (765-869-5406) know soon. Many of you already know what you need to do so “gear up” and we’ll talk more at the meeting.
See you then, Joan
